POLYESTER PIGMENT PASTE (556-SERIES)
They are used for coloring all types of transparent polyester gelcoats and polyester resins. They have a universal attribute for the resin polyester systems in their structure and cause minimum differences in the curing system they are used in. In general, uses up to 5% will be adequate to achieve sufficient color intensity and this ratio will not not have any adverse impacts on the curing system. However, they can be used in a proportion up to 15% in some cases.
In such cases, users should observe the effects of the added resin on the curing system.
These are high quality pigment dispersions dispersed in a resin that will be considered universal for flexible polyester systems which do not contain monomers. The amount of the volatile substance content is also at a level of 5% in most formulations (the highest content will not exceed 10%). They do not cause any negative effects to the curing system of the resin used in this respect.
