NON-FLAMMABLE POLYESTER (511-0327)

It is an isophthalic-based, reactive, unsaturated polyester containing fire retardant and self-extinguishing features. Does not burn easily thanks to this feature and if it it does so, quickly goes out in less than 3 seconds. DEWILUX 0327 has excellent heat resistance and low di-electric value with its excellent bending temperature value under high load. FRP parts produced with this polyester can greatly retain their properties when exposed to temperatures up to 100°C for a long time period and for a short time up to 150°C (- appropriate post-curing is process required; please kindly contact our technical service considering the application conditions). It is applied by hand lay-up; however it is an ideal isophthalic polyester for hot curing systems with its reactive structure when used with the right accelerator - hardener types and amounts.
