ISO/NPG POLYESTER (511-0380)

It is suitable for the production of quality gelcoats with its excellent hydrolytic stability and resistance to outdoor conditions, abrasion and with its impact resistance. It is recommended to be used as a high performance resin, particularly in the boat industry with its low water absorption and in the production of all kinds of glass-reinforced parts that require both high mechanical values or where chemical resistance is sought (see the table of chemical resistance). DEWILUX 380 is an isophthalic, NPG-based, unsaturated polyester with medium reactivity and low viscosity with high mechanical and chemical resistance and durability features. It can be used successfully by hand lay-up in ambient conditions and in all kinds of machines and hot applications.
