HEAT AND CHEMICAL RESISTANT ISO POLYESTER (511-0199)
0199, an isophthalic-based, reactive unsaturated polyester, has excellent heat resistance and low di-electric value with its excellent bending temperature value under high load together with very good chemical resistance features. FRP parts produced with this polyester can greatly retain their properties when exposed to temperatures up to 150°C for a long time period and for a short time up to 200°C (- appropriate post-curing is process required; please kindly contact our technical service considering the application conditions). Furthermore, DEWILUX polyester is among the best polyesters with a very good resistance to polyester solvents (Please see our tables of Chemical Resistance). In addition to the aircraft industry, for which it was designed in the past, it is successfully used as a high-performance polyester in all sensitive application areas where high thermal, electrical and chemical resistance is desired. It is an ideal isophthalic polyester for hot curing systems with its reactive structure.
